The benefits of Swedish massage include increased blood circulation, mental and physical relaxation, decreased stress and muscle tension and improved range of motion. Light to medium pressure is used.

Deep Tissue Massage:
Deep tissue massage is designed for individuals wanting a more detailed full body treatment. It works on specific muscle groups to aid in joint mobility, relief of chronic aches and pains, and to promote flexibility. This is a more intense massage that releases chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes, joint stretching, nerve mobilization and specific deep pressure.

Oncology Massage:
Oncology massage is the adaptation of therapeutic massage techniques to safely work with an individual affected by cancer or its treatments. This type of massage helps promote relaxation, reduces stress as well as symptoms associated with chemotherapy and radiation thus improving quality of life. Slow, steady movements are used with light pressure.

Hot Stone Massage:
Smooth heated basalt stones are used throughout a full body massage to help relieve areas of tension, ease muscle stiffness and promote relaxation and healing. Muscle tension is melted away while you experience peacefulness and relaxation from the stone's deep penetrating warmth.

Pregnancy Massage - Pre/Post Natal:
Prenatal/Pregnancy massage is therapeutic bodywork that focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be as her body goes through the dramatic changes of pregnancy. It enhances the function of muscles and joints, improves circulation and general body tone and relieves mental and physical fatigue. Massage during the first trimester is similar to Swedish massage. During the second and third trimesters, the mother-to-be receives massage in a side-lying position supported by bolsters and pillows for ultimate comfort. A modified supine position (reclining) may also be used.

Postnatal/Postpartum massage can be as important and beneficial as massage during pregnancy. Postpartum bodywork is an effective and holistic approach for the many adjustments to motherhood. Unique postpartum benefits include hormone regulation, reduced swelling, better sleep, and improved breastfeeding.

Cancellation Policy
If you need to reschedule or cancel a treatment session, please provide at least 48 hours notice to avoid a cancelation fee. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment during that timeframe. Same day cancelations or rescheduling of appointments will be subject to 50% of the total service costs. In the event of a no show/no contact, you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. Going forward, a nonrefundable payment must be made in advance, at the time of scheduling your next appointment. Therapist reserves the right to deny pre-booking in the future and client may be put on same-day-only list to be called when there are openings.

Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your appointment. All treatment sessions have a specific time schedule and an on time arrival allows for a relaxed and unhurried experience.  If late arrival is inevitable, your session may be shortened in order to keep on schedule to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours and the original treatment time will be charged.
